Training Courses and GRC Testing

Training: We offer training in the fundamentals of GRC production. We run regularly one day workshops at our dedicated training and research centre in Avonmouth, Bristol and we also offer on-site training at customers’ premises when requested. Where customers need advanced training, we have a network of highly skilled individuals with whom we coordinate. The range covers design and engineering services, mould making in all types of materials to the manufacture of GRC products including the development of surface finishes such as texture, colour etc. For those wishing to find out more about Sprayed GRC, we run regular one-day demonstration workshops where customers have the opportunity to gain “hands-on” experience of GRC manufacture by the Hand Spray GRC process. Testing: Quality Control is important for all products made from GRC or other types of material. Industrial production of GRC products is covered by European and international standards. For smaller, non-critical products manufacturers are not obliged to follow specific standards although many find that introducing procedures and simple methods of Quality Control help to enhance the consistency of their production and reassure that their clients are receiving top quality products which will endure the test of time. We offer testing services including flexural tensile strength testing to European Standard EN1170-5 and GRCA MOT standards. Our laboratory is equipped with the latest computerised test machine.
